This state means that you have hit a barrier in defining a clear vision of your needs, wants and desires in this area or that you are may be going with the flow and your growth is slow, limited or stalled in general.
Develop your Safety & Zeal for increased Vision:
Take some time to identify and write down the obstacles, challenges, threats and weaknesses in this area of your life. Write down the things that are working in your favor, especially those you may take for granted, no matter how simple and express your gratitude for them daily. Practice controlling your breathing, sitting up straight, stretching and elongating your body to send confidence hormone to your brain, especially when you feel anxious or stressed.
Seek out calm environments, quiet rooms or spaces to sit in a relaxed state. Practice visualizing yourself overcoming your challenges. Allow your mind to wander and daydream to switch off your conscious thinking and allow your subconscious mind time to express itself. Take long walks and exercise to promote growth of neural pathways in your hippocampus.

Take some time to think about the small daily actions that can help you make progress. What can you do that takes as little as 5 minutes a day, where if performed consistently will add up to growth toward your vision? Remember, it’s not about big gains, it’s about small consistent gains.
Take some time to discovering the relationships which can help you grow toward your vision. Who in your network is a good example of success that is similar to your vision or whose path mimics the kind of growth you are looking for? Ask them about their experiences and listen keenly to their stories and see what you can mirror in your life.

Lack of vision clarity in this area is frequently the result of unmanaged stress, obstacles, threats and anxieties. You can probably easily picture your problems in vivid details, articulate detailed stories of frustrating experiences to others and gain a sense of satisfaction from venting and airing your grievances. You may struggle with being present in the moment because you have difficulty letting go of negative experiences from the past and/or you have serious anxieties about the future. These struggles from the past and anxieties about the future can sometimes get you down and leave you in extended states of sadness, and feeling stressed out or worse.
You may have established some practices to protect yourself and reduce anxiety such as avoiding changes, or anything that disrupts your current routines. You may find yourself oversleeping, staying up late or have difficulty normalizing your sleep patterns. You may occasionally find yourself short tempered or frustrated with others and feeling a sense of unfairness in how the world operates in general. You likely openly wish things were different but are unsure how to shift gears and feel more empowered.
You also may have some compelling desires and aspirations in this area of life which you suppress because they are low in priority in comparison to the other challenges in your life or seem unachievable. You may avoid talking about the future because you are overly concerned with the day to day things. The extreme focus on getting by and surviving day to day may cause you to question the meaning of life and you may feel a lack of driven purpose in this area of your life. Your growth toward your vision is very slow, limited or stalled. You might feel like you aren’t even halfway there and it seems like it will take forever to make progress. You may have suffered some serious setbacks and are considering whether this is something you are realistically capable of right now. You may be frustrated with others around you whom you feel are holding you back or aren’t being supportive enough. You may feel unsettled on the path forward to overcome the obstacles which stand in the way of realizing your vision.
You may lack organization of your ideas, and have difficulty breaking down the goals into smaller tasks, or figuring out what the next attainable step might be. You may be easily distracted by things like television, social media, friends or events that are satisfying in the short term, but not delivering for your long term goals.
You may be meeting interesting people who are compelled by your vision and stories but are delayed in following up with those contacts to request any engagement that produces results. When you do follow-up you may not be receiving the response you desire. You may have difficulty listening to others and their stories and experiences due to distraction, boredom or lack of interest. You may be looking to your relationships for validation and tend to avoid those who have a tendency to deliver constructive criticism.
